Abstract: Internet marketing is the fastest developing segment of online commerce. Online shopping was invented by Michael Aldrich in 1979 and launched Redifon s Office Revolution in 1980, which allowed consumers, distributers, suppliers and service companies to be linked online to the business system. Online shopping has grown in popularity over the years, mainly because people want it Convenient and easy to bargain shop from the comfort of their home or office. Many companies like Amazon, Flip kart, eBay, Jabong etc. are already started reducing the product price as discount sale. In India more and more people are shopping online easy day. Women like to spend extra time exclusive goods paralleling decisions, though men need to be out of the stock at the earliest. Women don t mind going the extra mile while for men; it has to be quick and easy. Women consider shopping comforting and a social effort, they are more durable and unpleasant and do not mind the wait for the store to slowly disclose itself. Fashion is most popular art. Its undertaking, strategy and construction all in one. It displays the creation who we are and who we would like to be.The purpose of the study is to explore the women s buying behavior online in lucknow and Kanpur. To how understand women consumers can use online shopping websites in their advantage. Secondly an attempt to understand the women consumer behavior towards online shopping, when purchasing cosmetics and clothing wear. newline
