|Abstract: ||Stock prices are often very tempting in an economic downturn. The stock price prediction is the act of trying to determine the future value of the company. Market value of a share of common stock on the date shown. High or low is based on the highest and lowest intra a day trading pro. Stock investments are a crucial component of an individual s investment portfolio. Stock has the ability to pay high returns in lesser time than most of the other forms of investments.
newlineThe investors were careful when purchasing stock in the company, as the stock price was known fluctuate greatly in this specific market. In India there are two main nationalized stock exchanges BSE and NSE. BSE is first organized stock an exchange was set up at Mumbai in 1877 under the name of native stock and share brokers association . NSE was incorporated in November 1992 with an equity capital Rs. 25 crore. The main aim of this study is to analyze the stock price of RIL (Reliance Industry Limited) during a period from 2001-2011. This study is basically based upon the secondary data. Data are collected from www.bseindia.com and www.nseindia.com. This study is based on descriptive research in cross-sectional design has been used. The studies conducted descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and regression analysis, return analysis and paired sample t-test. This study also help the investors to gain the knowledge about the stock price of RIL of different months thereby, they can invest continuously.
